Title: The Mill
Artist's Statement: Long gone are the days when every settlement had it's working mill (few can claim anything but obsolescence as we approach the 21st century). I recall when I was young in Newfoundland, a remark by an incredulous Torbay gal, who exclaimed “But if you don't have a mill or fishing in Saskatchewan, what do people do? how do they get by?!”

Medium: Oil on canvas.
Dimensions: 24" X 36" (60 cm X 90 cm)
