Artist's Statement: In the 20th century, women come into their own: This visual story depicts the evolutionary soup in the foreground. The ascent of man is shown on the left, and to the right is a figure striking blows. In the middle of the canvas, an ascent to civilization is depicted. The figure of a woman dominates the scene from the upper left. Hand outstretched, she is about to touch the globe (civilization), while maintaining a firm hold on the present and the past.
